Spread mushroom compost over front lawn and over seed the bare spots.
Plant strawberry plants in the strawberry pot.
Dig up the raspberries that have grown out of the bottom of the raspberry pots.
Weed.

Hope you got it all done :) I was just looking at your pictures after I posted on my blog about the berry bush I bought. Now, after seeing the leaves on your raspberry plant I think I may have gotten raspberries! Who knows!!
ReplyDeleteRaspberries are real thugs in the garden, you have to keep them under control. I have raspberry suckers about 8 feet away from their original bed!

ReplyDeleteThanks for the warning. I put them in pots to try to keep them under control. I can't believe that they sent suckers through the drainage holes. Maybe if I put the pots on pavers, the raspberry suckers won't be able to spread beyond the pots. Ah, to be smarter than a raspberry bush would be nice.
I do think the bush has thorns. I noticed when I picked it up that the branches were really prickly...I'll post a picture tomorrow morning...you can take a look at it.
